Welcome to IAK. Our school has a strong tradition of teaching in English and many of our students can communicate well in the spoken and the written language. We serve a multi-cultural and multi-national student body, with an emphasis on academic learning based on the UK National Curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE examinations. In Year 12 our students follow the Cambridge international A s level course in preparation for university entrance. Our student population of over 1500 comprises mainly local ex-patriate Arab families as well as Kuwaiti nationals.
