First Takaful Insurance Co (FTIC) was established in year 2000 upon the regulations of the law No.24 of the year 1961 as the first company licensed by the Ministry of commerce to offer Takaful (Islamic alternative to the Insurance) in Kuwait. The company was established with a capital of Ten million KD contributed by many of the largest Islamic institutions in Kuwait including Kuwait Finance House, International inventor Co., International Murabaha Co., and the international investment Group.
