The College of Graduates Studies (CGS) at Kuwait University (KU) offers Graduate Study Excellence Scholarship for MSc./MA and PhD programs. Applicants with high academic achievements and commitment to research and scholarly activities are encouraged to apply. The Scholarship is open to Kuwaiti nationals, residence and international students. KU seeks candidates with exceptional abilities qualifying them to contribute effectively to the advancement of scientific, technological, economical and social developments. The scholarship includes a full university tuition waiver, as well as generous financial monthly stipend of KD1000 (approximately $3500) for the Master’s degree and KD1400 (approximately $5000) for the Ph.D. degree students. KU offers non-resident students a generous benefit plan, which includes air-ticket for the initial and final trip to Kuwait, accommodation, public health insurance and entry visa in accordance with Kuwait rules and regulations.
